We come from humble beginnings, as Peter G. Sotire and Anthony Cerone founded the company in 1960 selling and installing storm windows out of Peter’s home. The pair named Double R after their wives, Rosemarie and Ruth, and the family values the company was founded upon are still our driving force today.
We based our business on honesty, hard work and reliability, which is how we’ve grown into the complete home improvement contractor we are today. When you call Double R A Construction Corp, you know you will be getting the best products, the highest quality work, and an enjoyable experience.

Generations of Quality Work
Tony Sotire, along with his wife Maria, currently owns and operates the company his father and uncle founded, carrying on the work he has done since he started helping his father as an 11 year old boy. Tony and Maria lead us in continuing education, trade shows, webinars and manufacturer testing to help us continue to be one of the most knowledgeable, up to date contractors in the industry. We've been in business for nearly 60 years, we plan to continue for many more.
Our Mission
We take pride in being a local, family owned business, and we believe that we provide Westchester & Fairfield Counties with the highest quality work around. We stay involved in the community through activities like sponsoring local softball teams, and we’re proud to have our third generation of family members working for Double R A Construction Corp
