Why should I choose your company?
In choosing a home improvement contractor there are many factors to consider. These are not listed in order of importance, but they all are a consideration in the decision.
1. Price: Price is always a consideration in choosing a contractor. But it should not be the only one. Remember the old adage, "You get what you pay for." Experience, workmanship and quality materials should always be taken into account when making your decision.
2. Customer Service: This is a very important aspect of any contractor. Do they return phone calls or emails in a timely fashion? Are they courteous and respectful of you and your property? You are entering into a relationship with the contractor and should make sure the interaction is good from the beginning. Customer service is critical for both the contractor and the homeowner.
3. Trust: Customer trust is a belief a customer has in the business. That we will do what we say, when we say and how we agreed to. Building customer trust, then, is walking the walk, talking the talk, and respecting that people are paying attention.
4. Reputation: Reputation of a company is a big part of the decision. Comments from friends, family or neighbors hold alot of weight. Reviews that can confirm the reputation of the contractor are just as important. Reputation combines customer serice, trust, reputation, time in business and consistency. All factors that are necessary in a great contractor.
5. Consistency: Consistency ties together trust and reputation. Does your contractor always returns calls? Do they show up when promised? Do they do what was agreed upon? Issues and problems can arise on any job, but how are they handled? Are correct solutions offered?
