Roof Repair Photo Album: Rood Shingle damage in Harrison, NY
A 1,250-square-foot condo, built in 2009, began showing signs of roofing issues after a recent windstorm. The homeowner noticed pieces of shingles in the backyard, and from the street, there were visible sections of the roof missing shingles. Concerned about potential damage, they called Double R A Construction for a professional inspection.
Upon inspection, we found several areas of the roof missing or damaged, along with signs of hail damage. While the property had previously undergone a repair, it was clear that the previous contractor had only replaced a section of asphalt shingles without fully sealing the seams. Fortunately, no water damage was visible during our inspection.
The presence of shingles on the ground likely prevented a more significant problem down the road. After thoroughly checking both the roof and attic, we reviewed our findings with the homeowner and recommended several repair options. The roof definitely requires major repair work to avoid future issues and ensure long-term protection for the property.
