Double R A Construction completed this home exterior renovation for a property owner on Yonkers, NY. The original siding was severely faded and was starting to warp & pull away from the home. When this occurs, the water-resistant barrier is separating, this can expose the sheeting and allow water to enter the home. This can start the wood rotting process and possibly turn in a mold issue quickly.

Out trained craftsman walked the homeowner through each option while explaining the advantages of using LP Smart Siding. The customer reviewed or proposal and went with our recommendation and choose the Tundra Grey. This style and color is one of the most popular we install. When our client Miguel came to us he wanted an update to his 1929 Classics home in Dobbs Ferry, New York.  We talked about maintenance free products and decided upon CertainTeed CedarBoard Insulated siding in Sterling Grey.  As a beautiful upgrade to this outstanding siding job we added cellular PVC window frames, door frames, garage frames and corners.  This beautiful 1920's home got the look and style it deserves by Double R A Construction Corp.  Our homeowners are quite happy and have received many compliments from neighbors and friends.

A local homeowner reached out to Double R A Construction to get a roof inspection. Upon arrival, we walked the roof to check for hail damage. The homeowner was concerned there was some damage after a recent hail storm from the previous week. Our team did find some marks from hail strikes. We let them know that they should have some of the shingles replaced to avoid any future water or moisture issues.

During the roof they asked if we could check the chimney for leaks and stability. We did find that the chimney needed to be sealed and possibly refaced. They opted for a quick fix and would consider having the hail damaged shingles repaired. Overall, we established a relationship with this property owner and hopefully will call Double R A Construction in the near future. 

We revitalized this old deck in Mt. Vernon with new railings, flooring, and stairs.  It looks beautiful and now the homeowners can enjoy their deck for the rest of the summer.
