This classic style tudor home in Rye Brook, New York needed a new roof and the homeowner wanted to make a big change from the original slate roofing.  Double R A Construction Corp. suggested using CertainTeed's NorthGate SBS modified asphalt shingle.   This shingle is unmatched by standard asphalt shingles. The rubberizing aspect of SBS allows greater flexibility so the shingles resist cracking even in extreme cold-weather, allowing for year round application.  We were able to keep the classic style and beauty using the CertainTeed Northgate Shingle in Georgetown Gray while making our homeowners very satisfied with a job well done.
